What is Brow Lift Surgery?
Brow Lift is a surgical procedure to reduce wrinkle lines, improves frown lines, raises sagging eyebrows, and places the eyebrows in a youthful position.
Brow Lift can:
- Raise sagging brows that are hooding the upper eyelids
- Improves frown lines
- Reduces wrinkle lines that develop across the forehead, as well as those that occur between the eyes and on the bridge of the nose
- Excess skin and fine wrinkles of the eyelids
During and After Your Surgery
Anaesthesia Type: General (patients are asleep)
Duration of Surgery: Usually 2 hrs
In/Outpatient: Patients go home same day (may have a drain for 24-48 hrs) and are seen by Dr. Matic 24-48 hrs after
Length of Recovery and Return to Work: Usually patients take about 1-2 weeks before returning to work. Staples or stitches are often removed by day 10. Back to normal function by 4 weeks
Final Results: Expected by 3 months
Post-Operative Medication: Pain killers are often given as well as antibiotics
