Yes! The area to be treated must be shaved 24 hours prior to appointment - the closer the shave, the better!

Avoid any other form of hair removal for a minimum of 4 weeks prior to appointment (waxing, threading, tweezing, depilatory creams, etc) - shave only between treatments!

Avoid direct sun exposure for a minimum of 3 days prior to the appointment (and a minimum of 3 days post) avoid the use of self-tanner or spray tan products for a minimum of 2 weeks prior to appointment

Redness and bumps are normal - immediately post treatment, redness and bumps in the treated area are common; these may last up to 2 hours or longer, it is normal for the treated area to feel like a sunburn for a few hours, apply a cold compress to the treated area if discomfort persists. Do not pick/scratch/wax/thread/tweeze the treated area - avoid picking or scratching the treated skin - do not use any other hair removal methods or products, other than shaving, on the treated area for the duration of the laser treatments as this will prevent you from achieving optimal results.
