What is a Breast Lift?

Breast lift surgery, or mastopexy, raises the breasts by removing excess skin and tightening the surrounding tissue to reshape and support the new breast contour. The procedure corrects sagginess and improves nipple position that can change over time due to aging, pregnancy or weight fluctuation. Anaesthesia Type

General Anaesthesia (patients are asleep).
Duration of Surgery

1.5 - 2 hours.
In/Outpatient

Patients go home the same day and are seen by Dr. Matic the next day for follow-up.
Length of Recovery

Patients usually take about a week of downtime and resume full activity in 4-6 weeks.
Post-Operative Medication

Pain medication and antibiotics as needed.
