What is an Implant Removal?
Breast implant removal surgery is the procedure required to take out breast implants that have been put in place during breast augmentation. The surgery is designed for patients who no longer want breast implants or have experienced complications or defects with implants, such as a shift, a leak or unexpected pain.
We specialize in the safe removal of implant removal. During the procedure, the surgeon makes an incision under your breast or around your areola, then takes out the implant and removes any scar tissue around the area. The procedure is similar to breast implant replacement surgery and is sometimes combined with a breast lift to help maintain a youthful figure.
